all i could find from the other topics is it may be an 08 model truck and it may be escondidos(spelling) truck.?

Yep...
If he is found innocent or pleads to a lesser non-felony charge ,they will release the truck back to him.
May not be in a timely manner,but he will get it back.
As for the light,I'm sure they will keep it. Smile

I had an employee that was pulled over for speeding but arrested for a twig of some sort on the floor board. He had just cashed his check so car and all his cash was seized. two and a half months later after lab testing he got it all back, except the night in jail and court. Given the motivation, the bastards can do what they want to, dont pull for James but I hope he get's over.

It belongs to him or else they could not have seized it, you can not seize a vehicle unless the owner is involved in the crime.
