Surely teams have been arriving in the USA and have been hitting up some tracks to dial things in.

Can we get some coverage? Surely someone can hit up Ian. I'm sure he knows Glenn and Jeffrey's whereabouts. Or LeBig...I bet he knows where Gautier is (probably someplace scoffing at Jordi).

I do appreciate Vital's homage to Tanel Leok. Thanks guys.

I don't know, when team USA is practicing at some Podunk Euro track the week before the race, there are photogs lining the track and we're getting up to the minute updates. I'm interested in the other teams too. Know thy enemy....right?

Maybe social media has replaced journalism. I don't know.

(sorry I'm just bitter 'cause I can't make it to Michigan and I'm stuck here at work. help a brother out)

The French went inspecting the track yesterday. The Italians arrived yesterday afternoon and the Belgians yesterday evening. The British went golfing at Notre Dame. Don't know about the Dutch.

I don't think they're going to get a lot of bike time until Saturday.

Not sure how the Facebook links work, maybe someone smarter can sort this out.

Local photographer Ph3 has an album of Hunter Lawrence/Geico Honda at Martin MX about 2 hours north of Red Bud yesterday.

My brother saw the Geico rig at Martin MX Park this past Tuesday. Assuming Hunter Lawrence was riding a little.

Herlings said he's riding Tuesday & Wednesday in Europe as normal and flying to MXoN on Thursday (today) so I doubt he'll be doing any riding in USA till pratice at Red Bud on Saturday.

With the last GP beginning last weekend, not many teams are coming over but a day or two early and will likely ride Thursday or a small bit Friday morning at some local tracks in Michigan. I doubt you’ll see much coverage prior to the race.

I guess they aren't too worried about jet lag?

I would have thought they would fly in Monday morning.

Team Mexico had a session with Factory Connection and will be pitting out of this rig.

Flying to the US from Europe is easy. Flying back to Europe is when you get the jet lag.

With the track only 5 hrs behind the UK and 6 behind Europe, they can probably pretty much stay on their own time. It would just feel like riding late in the day/evening.

Completely reverse for me... I hate flying west.

Everyone is different and they deal with it in their own way. For Herlings that has usually been to arrive as late as possible

To me, the different time zones would be the hardest to deal with, major respect for the top GP riders being able to perform in so many different places.

I'd like to see Hunter Lawrence's impressions of that GEICO factory bike versus the private 114 Honda he rode in MX2. And I wonder how much adjustment time that takes?

I know some teams were at Motoland in Kingsbury, IN as I had a few buddies ride with them (Czech Team, Estonia, Ukraine). I would have loved to see a few pros at Martin MX as I ride there often. I don't go to Motoland often but I think Canard has practiced there in the past. It's a deep sand track.

It's Friday the day before arguably one of the biggest races in the history the United States and there is nothing on the front page of VITAL MX.com about MXoN?!?
