where do Ward & O’Show ride (mtb SoCal)

searching out the LA area for fast, XC mtb trails where it’s not as much technical and more about endurance. Johnny’O and Ward post their mtb rides on Instagram and that seems like what I’m after - I assume this is up in the hills just north of Santa Monica.

Any suggestions on XC, high momentum mountain bike trails in this area, or does anyone know where those guys ride?

I happen to ride with those guys every so often, I suppose I can spill the beans.

We mainly ride the trail network in Laguna Beach/Aliso Woods Canyon.

If you’d like, email me and I can give you some Strava loops to get a solid endurance ride in. I have loops varying from 20 miles up to 50 miles, with 3,000-8,000 feet of climbing.

You bounce between ocean views, and on the other side is a wooded canyon. It’s all littered with single track.
