is this bike? http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/mcy/3818320216.html guy says its an 97 bet im pretty sure 93 was the last year of blue forks. and the plastics dont match ( from what i can see in the pictures this guy took) to a 97.

I agree with andymoto. I think 1990 and '91 the radiator shrouds didn't go all the way to the tank. They didn't start with the shrouds going all the way to the gas tank until 1992 and I believe this is 1990.

The seat and graphics are from a 90 (but the 90 didn't have blue forks)

Edit: The frame bolts match the 1990. So, it is 1990 with forks that were later added from a 91, 92 or 93.

1990 seat cover, but 91 and up had the blue forks, 90's didn't.

that bike was a fuckin' dog too. bitchin perimeter frame with zero motor.

Rule 1:

Always restore a bike you ALWAYS WANTED so the cost and time invested will be offset by appreciation. Don't buy a bucket on craigslist because it's a few hundred bucks and avaliable. Search for the bike you want.

thanks for the info! and i wouldnt restore it. i might get it and put it back together get it running nice and cleaned up and sell it to make a few bones. im sure itd be fun to whip around my track a few times too
