I'd replace number three with a good diet and a solid training program.

But I'd also make sure it was dialed in for your weight (springs), and maybe do a basic oil change and tune on the suspension.

At 190lbs on a 250F, you need stiffer springs.

Service manual.

You'll need the remaining $450 to cover a portion of the top end parts when she blows!

Take a class. You can have the best of everything but that would be worthless unless you know how to use it.

Tip for when to hop up the scoot.
You are losing to the same 3 people 10 times in a row by a bike length.
You have money burning a hole in your pocket.
You like looking at the bike more then riding it.

All that and you have already put a new chain sprockets, clutch, tires and are on fresh suspension and have set the sag.

Removing the rear brake for a day also will help.

Just save your $500 bucks for when you need a valve job, if its an 08 then it should be pretty soon.

Suspension. The extra power is useless if you can't get it to the ground.
A diet is free.
If the motor blows, stick a KX500 motor in it, and live happily ever after. Smile

If you're mid-pack or better you should be able to answer your own question.

definitly need heavier springs. Go to MXtech.com and use they spring generator to see what you need. No need for a revalve at this point.

What size rear sprocket does it have , if it is the stock 48 go up to a 50. It will help with you being 190.

Long term I would look at a big bore kit maybe.
