It seems that the real news journalists have reported everything there is to report. All the details are out there and he confessed to doing it. All that's left is for him to give the obligatory speech where he apologizes to his fans and sponsors for being such an idiot and promises to make better choices going forward blah blah blah.... and then he can go out and lay wood to everyone else in Dallas as long as he doesn't crash.

The best thing he can do to turn this thing around is just win. Then all we be forgiven. Just like all the other celebrities and athletes in the stick and ball world.

It doesn't matter what anyone asks him. The Stewart camp has shown time and time again, when there is a backstory that deserves to be told, they will down play it, deflect it and talk around it because they know in the end, people will just get tired of asking when they get nothing in return.

My hope is that Speed offers Ricky Carmichael a sit down with the kid.

James was Arrested on Monday Night, Today is Wednesday, He probably just found out more details legal wise himself. Why would he Speak on this situation, before he has all the information regarding it himself? We do not know if he has stood before a Judge yet?

Maybe on other issues or topics regarding his racing, its too soon for him to answer questions also. Whats wrong with waiting till he has all the correct facts or answers before speaking about it?

I absolutely think it's too early for him to speak now. As you said, he's probably just getting details on how the situation will move forward from here himself.

My reference to being forthright is looking more toward the weekend, or even the following weekend; when the situation's timeline has been established. I just don't see that happening for a long long time, if ever.

Well first of all I hope James, and every person who has ever read any message board, never tries to appease the jackoff's who make up said message board "community".

I've done a few boneheaded things in my life but I'm not a high profile commercially endorsed personality.

What James did was pretty dumb, not anything which doesn't happen on a regular basis in the US, he just happened to do it to the wrong vehicle. Sucks but it is indeed a crime.
