That is definitely a real sand track. Wow, doesn't look like a whole lot of fun to me.

That would be such an awesome race to watch. I really looked forward to the Southwick National every year. I hope they find an equally or more worthy sand track sooner than later. Those GP dudes have some insanely awesome looking sand tracks.

Bring out the dozers, quick.

Much respect for anyone, amateur or pro who can go fast in shit like that.

Dennis I ABSOLUTELY agree!

I've been saying this for a while now. If we keep riding groomed tracks then our days of being known as the fastest riders in the world will be done.

AMEN! (To the OP)

I think our weak tracks are the reason that our showings at the MXdN's have been less than stellar.

I want to see the baddest dudes on the planet race on the roughest, most brutal, steepest, sandiest, most hard packed, muddiest, slipperiest, most ridiculous tracks in the country.

Prep the track on Friday...and then don't touch it (besides the start and first turn) until Monday...just add enough water to keep the dust down.

I want to see our pro riders hauling around a track that I'm not even sure I could ride around....

In the 70's I rode on German MX tracks that had never been groomed. The race was over and or the season was over, the starting gate was fenced of and the cattle were returned or the grass was allowed to grow until the next season. When it came time race and you walked the track, natural whoops, ruts, holes were still there from years previous hidden in the tall grass!!!!

Mind you these tracks were undulating, hilly, natural drop offs.............and very technical. It took rider skill to make a lap or more!!!!
