Probably the best risk/reward ratio I've ever seen. When he was catching the pack, he'd enter that section from the previous corner just as other guys were just hopping over the wall, and jump right up to their rear tire in the left hander after he landed. It was crazy fast.

Agreed... when he pulled that move out of his back pocket on the last lap of his heat race, I knew he was going to bust that out every lap in the main. A great race, for my first Daytona SX.

Ya It was Sick as F&ck!!! Everyone else was just slamming into it and landing in the gator pit. What was really impressive was after he crashed that hard and started doing it again after a lap. There was a few times when his back tire had to be an inch from hitting it....And also malcom was the only person in the lites to triple into the one offset jump section after the whoops.

In practice Matthes tweeted that Reed had jumped a gap that he didn't think anyone would jump. Is this the same gap or something else?

Beat met to it, Kongols. I think he's still on the way up at this point. But you get an idea of how if he'd missed, it would have been ugly.

What's interesting is that they'd knocked down the top of the roller entering the section before practice to prevent people from doing this.

Izzy (and I heard some other dude) was doubling the section before the wall. He was the only one I saw do it. I kept waiting for Bubba to double in and then jump the entire next section into the left hand turn.

That line that Bubba was doing was insane.

I think that was a different section and in the first practice, he later tweeted Izzi and Wilson were doing it too.

That's what I thought after watching RC do his lap. Definitely looked more doable than this, but I guess taking away the jump before the dip allowed him to slam into the face of the dip and bounce out.
