I dunno, it appears to me that Mike stayed in his own racing line (look at the rut he was in). It looks like their lines just came together. Usually when someone "trys" to take someone out it is very aparent and obvious, kinda like JG tried to do to MA800 last week. To me, in this instance it looked like Mike was eyes forward and on the gas trying to race.

If MA wasn't involved there would be no issue. It was racing...

Racing incident if Mike wanted to take him out he would have done it when he was looking over at him on the start straight to MAKE SURE HE WOULDNT HIT HIM.

looks like BT hit the apex of the turn in the rut lost all his momentum and pretty much left it open for mike, not mike's fault

+1

I've never approved of T-boning and that bullshit, but at the same time I like aggressive moves. BT was the instigator, and I think he was a bit banzi down that hill and into the corner. That video is bad, but even from the photos, it wasn't a big deal. It certainly didn't look like a takeout move to me. There is nothing wrong with blocking a line or drifting out...in fact, thats where it looks like the line goes to me.

It doesn't really matter if it was an accident or not. Mike has a reputation and riders don't like the guy. I hope he realizes that the more fast guys he pisses off, the harder it's gonna be for him to win a championship. I don't think Villopoto, Reed, Townley or Grant would hesitate to park the guy if the opportunity came up.

I've seen this move over and over again...

It's obvious

They should declare a restart

Perhaps at Freestone this coming weekend

Where I'll be, and can be a non-biased witness

I'll be eating a breakfast taco

We can talk about that later. There's a bunch of those Euro's reading this, and we don't want them knowing about breakfast taco's.

I think the main thing to be taken out of this is Mike just made another enemy, bring on the payabacks.

If JG can't get him, surley BT can, if BT can't surely Reed can, If Reed can't surely RV will ... lol the guy just cracks me up.

interview BT;

http://www.racerxonline.com/...townley-5-31-10.aspx

this is what he say about the incedent;

Can you talk about what happened between you and Alessi in the first moto that ended your run up front, more or less?

It’s just Mike being his usual self... You know, I passed him around the outside, and I was in front of him, and out of nowhere, he squared the turn off... To be fair, because of the way I passed him, I didn’t quite hit my turn right, and he had every right to come up the inside of me, but I was going in one direction and he was going in almost the opposite direction of that; we were doing a left-hand turn, and he was sort of veering off to the right, so... It’s just him. Nothing more to say about that. Did you see me go out off the start line [for the parade lap before moto two] and just roost the hell out of him? He was going up on the side of me, and I jumped my back wheel off the ground and just f@#%in’ showered him... [Laughs]

Me too, but I heard if shit gets broken it is considered an intentional take out.

BT 101 quote from Racer x talking about roosting Mikey during the parade lap.

"Did you see me go out off the start line [for the parade lap before moto two] and just roost the hell out of him? He was going up on the side of me, and I jumped my back wheel off the ground and just f@#%in’ showered him... [Laughs]"

Most riders would say I didn't do that. It was an accident. Mikey must of road into my roost.. Not BT. He went out of his way to laugh about what he did. I like it.
