I dunno, it appears to me that Mike stayed in his own racing line (look at the rut he was in). It looks like their lines just came together. Usually when someone "trys" to take someone out it is very aparent and obvious, kinda like JG tried to do to MA800 last week. To me, in this instance it looked like Mike was eyes forward and on the gas trying to race.

vschaik.., I hare that you can't edit the title's to the threads. I misspell stuff all the time in the titles and wish I could fix it.. Oh well though. It was an accident on the exit of a corner so I guess it kind of was an exident..lol

My opinion on the incident is that it was a racing incident with nobody really at fault. Mike was in his line and committed and right at the wrong time BT makes a little mistake which crosses the lines.

I would like to hear BT's take on it though.

well hell, I think it is quite obviously a take out move. I mean you can see the look on MA's face coming down that hill. He obviously had been setting it up for a few laps. The way he took a different line that just "happened" to cross into BT. Total take out. Mike, when will you ever learn...

Of course it was a racing incident. Sometimes you get bumped and go down.

Even Bailey said Townley messed up the corner. Townley squared that corner and lost some traction and lost speed. Alessi had a better drive through his line. I'm sure others saw it differently especially because of who (Alessi) was involved.

what about when Ben went down the second time in a turn all by himself up top? Who took him out there? The ghost of Christmas past?

takeout, ben was holding his line AHEAD of Alessi. alessi did everything he could do to stay in front and when that didnt work, plow him.

If BT was holding his line ahead of Alessi it wouldn't have happened. They were racing and any racer worth his salt, including BT, would have fought just as hard for the position as Alessi did.

Looked to me like Alessi went from the far inside right to the outside, and that just happened to be right through BT101's front wheel...

Mike was in a rut Ben over shot the corner cause he came in hot.
If Ben had a whinge about that, I have lost a bit of respect.
Harden up Ben this is MX.

Clearly BT intentionally shoved his front wheel into MA's rear wheel in an attempt to purposely loosen MA's spokes which would cause a catastrophic loss of balance.

I've seen this move over and over again...

It's obvious

They should declare a restart

Perhaps at Freestone this coming weekend

Where I'll be, and can be a non-biased witness

I'll be eating a breakfast taco

Takeout? IF BT was AHEAD of MA he wouldn't have had his front wheel clipped. Inside to out line to set up for the uphill that follows that turn. The line was there and he took it, did he slide to the out side a little more to close off BTs chance to get a good run up the hill? Sure but no take out IMO. Anyone with a racing mind would have tried to close the door just as MA did.

wrong,
if BT101 was behind alessi, his wheel would have not be clipped. alessi knew what he was doing as you can see him look over at ben a couple times before the takeout. alessi had nothing for ben or AC222, it was obvious.

It looked like Townley faultered and Alessi capitalized (from my house), great racing though. Townley more than made up for the mistake in the 2nd moto.

Compare where alessi is on the track when he exits the corner and where Cairoli is.

We can talk about that later. There's a bunch of those Euro's reading this, and we don't want them knowing about breakfast taco's.

Racing incident for me. Despite MA shortcomings seems a bit too easy to be angry with him...

Ben should man-up and blame this on himself.

My problem with Alessi (or dad) is that he's full of himself and basically a little bitch.

With that said, I think it was a racing incident but the funny thing is it's pretty much the exact same some that Grant pulled on Mike last year when the Alessi screamed murder!!

I bet you ask Tony about that pass and he's going to tell you it's textbook block pass but Grant's one was a complete take out move.

I think they were the same move and it's racing.

you can see BT stuff his front wheel from overshooting the outside berm; then jump back in the line. looks like a simple race incident to me. glad BT is not injured.

Looks like to me........the lines came together. It's very similar to how the lines came together at Colorado last year.

Seems to me, if Alessi didn't have any problem with this pass on BT, then he shouldn't bitch about JG last year.
