shes been good to me.

buuut im thinking of upgrading.
used vans are going for pretty good prices in my opinion right now.
im really feeling a passenger van.
i want an extra row.
with seatbelts.
and i like the interior panels.

lookin at 08 fords.
the ceiling has me worried about clearance.

anyone know if the lights and rear air in the center of the van are too much??

They're cool once you install a long travel kit on them......

I used to use an Astro van. Had to tie the front end down with a tie down before I loaded it so it would clear.

I had a Ford E250 Extended. It was great. I never had any problem with height.

Any Econoline 350 extended. Shag carpeting, Yamahauler sticker on the rear window, mini fridge and bean bags. You'll pull some chicks.

The sprinters are cool but really expensive and very expensive to maintain.
I have owned 6 of them and had 3 motors go before 150,000.
The ford or gmac's can be found for 10,000 to 12,000 with 25 to 40 k miles and will run forever. Just be sure you get a 2500 gmac/chev or e250 ford.

im seeing 08 fords for $15000ish with 10-20k miles on them.
a sprinter at that price would have over 100k miles.

I'm thinking he means it's a "70s" thing. Vans and people moving their shocks forward for long travel were big in the 70s.

Larry, were the engines gas or diesel? What type of driving were they seeing? I'm just asking out of curiosity. . .
