I'll take a crack at this riddle: 150's? Readily available at your local KTM and Husky dealers, or through Yamaha GYTR.

The biggest difference between a 100(that class never really became that popular, although my friend had a1977 RM 100, I always liked that bike ) and a supermini, is that a normal dad/kid can ride/afford /maintain a 100.

I say let the 250fs be all F1, and have a 125 class for the rest of us, (sorry Honda, but the good news is you still have the blueprints for the 125, just push the button).

Definitely, but as it relates to Brett mx thread, the class (125 )should be included in the race format, and Kawi, Suzuki, Honda should support( re-producing wouldn't be as big a deal as you think, most models would be BNG anyway ).

The main point here is....look at the gap that should be filled with the 125. Kids are jumping off 85cc / super mini's , right to hopped up 250F's. In my opinion , that's always been a huge leap. And a lot of parent's think this way to , as they get there kid's onto 125's and 150 2 strokes. Why?......because it gives those kid's a chance to adapt to a bigger bike , with more power and have a motor that they are familiar with. I still say that making the 125 obsolete was one of the biggest crimes ( fuck ups!! ) this sport / OEM's ever did! Or at least some of them. At Least KTM / Husky / Yamaha / TM / Sherco??......still believe in that class.

Oh yeah.....so does the GP's , since they have a bonafide 125 championship " series" not just a one weekend special event.

And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A super high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

125s teach carrying speed, and offer an affordable entry into the sport(not every kid has a dad that owns TEAM NAMI, (although sometimes I wonder if my son thinks that).

And some of us stay on 125's because we like the way you have to ride them.

Do you not have schoolboy and 2 stroke classes at your local races? We have them here, and they are included in all of the national amateur events. Nobody has to go from an 85 to a 250f, unless they just want to.

Yes of course, but as it relates to the Brett mx thread, and the Mitch Payton interview.
It would be cool to extend that into the pro program in some way.
