I'm highly displeased that they went with a single file restart. It offends my delicate sensibilities

wtf? single file the riders through the section where there's a man down. 1/3 of the race and a restart?

I agree. I wanted to see Barcia win, but it's not fair to stop the race like this

That single file actually hurt barcia. Also, it looked to me like barcia lost position due to bogle I will have to see the replay though.

I agree with you 100%. There is a reason that NOBODY has ever seen a restart like that.....and that reason is that races do NOT get red flagged after 1-3 laps. LAME!!!!

i dont see how it hurt him he was 9th before the restart and had already crashed so he wouldnt have been on the podium without it.

The restart worked much better than I thought it would....at first I was like "WTF?!," but it did work.....actually it's more fair than lining them up on the gate, IMO. I figured with the flag deal we would see some jumps and whatnot, but it was pretty smooth.

It kinda seems like the whole idea behind this is to not run another 15 laps, based on the TV schedule.

It's certainly not the dumbest thing the AMA has ever done....

I could be wrong but before rOczen crashed wasn't the time gap double what it was before?

It would be nice to have the ability to line them up behind the gate and drop each gate individually based on position and time gap - that'd be the most fair way to restart a race. But they don't have that ability, so the staggered restart is, in my opinion, the next best option. At least the leader still is the leader, second is still second and so on.

Looked like at least one guy was really confused and rode the first turn and triple like it was a sighting lap...

totally agree, much fairer than a restart at the gate and it did work out good.

Ken choked. Harder to start when you already know you have the lead. The rule sucks. Drop the fucken gate.

Did you not see the other five or six guys - Stewart, Barcia and Villopoto included - also slide out on that track tonight?

I like Ken a ton. I started following the GP's because of him and still do. He is still not ready to win races more less titles in the SX series.

It was a great night of racing. Both classes. The top class is gutted to the point of oblivion. Bring on the outdoors and the GP's!

He's ready to win races - he already has, maybe not titles, but I certainly don't think the kid choked.

Ken needs to battle and take out Barcia for his balls to drop. He can do it.
