2018 FC450
Thanks to 3brosracing. I'm coming off a 17' YZ450 and I had a deposit for the 18' yz450 but since it keeps getting pushed back for delivery, I couldn't resist and stopped by 3brosracing in Costa mesa and picked up this beauty! First time riding a husky and now I understand the price difference!

I agree their simple but look great., I got some nice parts coming in. Can't wait to see how good and comfortable I can make it but but overall the bike is great handles great, suspension is great stock but I will be taking it to Enzo after a few more motos.
I'm stuck on which exhaust system to get., any suggestions??

Congrats AT !! Hope you dig your new scooter!
As far as the ride report goes, the husky is a all around great bike. It does everything very well.
Motor., it pulls down low and keeps going., My 17' yz450 was fast! I had a gytr head and exhaust and it revved very fast and pulled hard. The husky is a silent missile, best way to describe it from my opinion. It does have that explosive hit but it pulls vurses spinning the wheels.
Suspension I set the sag at 105mm and 3rd line on the clamps. After a few moto's I can tell that I made the right choice going on the KTM I mean Husky.. it goes into ruts, doesn't want to stand up and very stable. Flat corners are not going to be feared any longer! The suspension action the bike will need to be revalved for my weight and ability., approx 165lbs A rider. But stock wise I can definitely race this! My yz had Enzo suspension and that is very hard to beat, 22mm clamps and even though I had a good setup, in turns I wasn't as confident as my new husky.
I will be riding it more before I send it off to Enzo and will be getting some nice parts on this thing!
Why would you use a phrase without knowing it's reference? ...thats puzzling to me
anyway, sweet ride...and welcome to the darkside!

Nice ride Dude!!!
However, I just want to have FUN and that's what this bike is. There's something quite appealing about 2 stroke simplicity.
I also share this bike with my dad, and he is more in control of a lighter feeling bike. With the 450 I think things can go wrong fast if you get tired and you're not on your A game.
Thinking about it, if I was buying just for me I'd have probably come away with the 350.
The 300 kit & "factory" ignition arrives soon, will report back on how it rides.
Technically, buying a 20 year old 2 stroke doesn't send such a strong message to bike manifacturers, other than you can't afford a new one.
Buying a new two stroke would contribute to the manufacturers interest in keeping them in production, but whether you like it or not, buying a new 4 stroke is also sound some wallet speaking.
im a local pro and i had the 16 ktm 350sxf
dude that bike was solid and super durable..... but the handling sucked ass..... i like my yamahas and would rather buy a $9000 yamaha and put a carillo rod and cp piston in it with some quality valves
instead of buying a $9000 ktm/husky and putting wp cone valve and trax shock on it
