From what little information I can find it seems a boy I would guess somewhere between the age of 9-13 crashed and was hit by a big bike. He was airlifted to the hospital, but sadly he passed away. I am only repeating what I have read on jmrpowersports.com so the info may not be totally accurate. I guessed his age from riding picture they have posted of him.

Send prayers or good thoughts to the family. I cant imagine the pain they feel.

IF I HEAR ONE MORE STORY ABOUT A LITTLE KID ON A LITTLE BIKE GETTING STEAMROLLED BY A BIG BIKE I AM GOING TO SCREAM![/size:2lbgj1ow]

WILL SOMEONE GET A FUCKING CLUE??!! this HAS to be FIXED. NOW.[/size:2lbgj1ow]

And I don't want hear anyone pulling the talking doll string and blah-blahing "it's everyone's choice BLAH-BLAH-BLAH". 1) A little kid is not responsible enough to be making those choices maturely and 2) News bulletin: IT AIN'T FUCKING WORKING!

Little kids are dying, people. Man up and start taking some adult responsibility to fix this problem instead of spewing the same old company line. This is fucking bullshit.

Over the last 20 years I have had many opportunities to get in the MX track business but the one thing that kept me from doing it was this exactly. Very sad. It would just grind me down. Track owners are in a tough position. Split up the groups when there are only 10 riders and get people huffing and puffing or take your chances. Pay flaggers when you are unsure of a turnout to cover them or take your chances. It was and is enough to keep me out of the business. But without the track owners we have no tracks to ride. No good options. I'm sure Andy is taking this very hard. He is a people person and one of the nicest guys in our sport. Our prayers go out to the the family and the Andersons.

Dang sorry to hear....loss for words. I know the family is dying inside right now, positive hopes for them...

There is absolutely no reason for people to huff and puff about split practices. The sooner it becomes the rule rather than the exception, the sooner people will expect split practices.

Regardless, a young man lost his life. Godspeed little feller and prayers to the family!

The entire Alabama racing community is taking this pretty hard right now.

Pray for Foster Turner's family.

Pray for Andy the track owner, he's having a hard time with this as well.

Like Ricky said, this has hit the Alabama Racing Community very hard.

Although, we did not race with Foster and did not know him personally this has hit real close to home. I have been in shock all weekend long.

Please continue to prayer for the Turner family. Also, please prayer for Andy as well because this has hit him very hard. We should also not forget the other rider involved as well. I am sure that the other rider is devasted as well.

I am sorry to hear that he did not stop or check on him. I was not there, so did not have that information.

I'm not so sure that's accurate. If you were there, correct me, otherwise.... The story I got was that the rider who landed on him was down all week from Michigan and went over to the edge of the track and just broke down in tears.

Two totally different stories, so don't assume anything unless you know it's true.

Michael, Peanut and Foster went, just the 3 of them. From Peanut, the other rider never stopped or came back to check on Foster. If he did, it still isn't known to Peanut, he was looking for who it was. I spent all afternoon with them yesterday. I plan to do the same today. See you there.

I'm sure the other rider, no matter how he handled it, is devastated right now.

My brother was riding there when it happened. He got interviewed by someone from the local news media and said the media was trying to give mx a bad rep. What a sad situation, and made even worse by biased media people. I don't know the answer to this issue. Maybe split up practices more, but who/when/how should the practices be split up?

Turns out the local news channel just showed a short clip of my brothers' interview and didn't portray mx as bad. Good for them, sad situation though. Hopefully track owners take a pro active stance on these issues.
