I think he was trying to quad but how he was gonna make the turn after the quad wasn't covered in first year geometry class! Smile

The way he was stretch out he looked to to have been trying to get over that last little hump and shoot down towards the corner. Thing's just don't always work out. He looped quick, had to have been a very hard hit cause it looked like he was flying.

He walked away and raced the next day. Had hit the jump on the right side and was good...tried it on the left side and the jump face clearly had a different pitch.....lucky boy to walk away from that one!

I want to be made out of what these kids are made of nowadays, it's like they just bounce and keep on rolling. Us old guys would be in the hospital for a month after that get off.

This was at the Baja Brawl.

It's a 40 foot table to a single, probably 100' total. It was super sketchy and 1 dude was hitting it during the racing. I watched Ashton Hayes case it during Friday practice and roll right off the track, never to be seen again that weekend. He pushed soft sand on the all the faces.... so this is what every takeoff looked like all weekend. Nothing I love more than dragging pegs while 100% vertical up the face of every jump!

This isn't the jump, but every face looked like this.

that was rediculous. I'm just wondering - if he DID quad that, would he have enough time to make the corner anyway?
