man...I just heard about this.....i had that evel knievel toy rocket when I was a kid.
What is going on with the Snake River Canyon Jump?
Rumors and innuendo are flying around more than a Hollywood soap opera.
What we can tell you ……..
We have made a deal to be part of a two hour special on FOX TV that will be aired live from the jump site. We are one of two teams that will be making the attempt – Big Ed Beckley and the other one will be done by Eddie Braun.
You already know of Big Ed Beckley’s jumping exploits and his desire to jump the Canyon since 1974. Braun has been Charlie Sheen’s stunt double and is an accomplished stuntman . We feel we have the biggest story and the widest spot on the Canyon for the jump with the best location for filming.
Fox described the event in a press release: “This fall, on the 40th anniversary of Evel Knievel’s high-stakes attempt to jump across Idaho’s Snake River Canyon, two very different personalities – professional stuntman Eddie Braun and daredevil Big Ed Beckley hope to achieve what Knievel could not by crossing the gaping 2,300-foot-wide and 500 foot deep canyon.”
We at Team Beckley know Fox is very excited about this show and they will put out the effort to make it great and we are following what they want to do. Our hope and plans were to jump on Sept. 7th and Braun’s group was to jump on Sept. 1st . Whatever the date is that we are to jump we will be ready as we can be!

Hell ya I'm going to watch!! This maybe the biggest trainwreck of all time. Shoot I'll bet that Will Farrell has already bought the rights the story.

Only difference between these two is, one of them knows how to jump and is in control while the other... is just. along. for. the ride.
Can you tell which?
Is that HarlTK on a 2 ton jack because none of the hicks could lift a 450 pound bike onto a regular bike stand?
