2021 KTM 450 sxf

Even from a distance you can tell it a 2005 rm250 the characteristic sound echo thru the forest an speeds thru the tundra da bike can simply be describes as 2-stroke madness low wait combine with brutal power an unsurpased spontineity as rite an proper for a Spode

It's really whatever your market is demanding. With inventory low across the country, if you want a bike now you will probably have to pay the price.

Probably close to, if not $11k. Probably going to be paying full pop with the way things have been.

Haha good luck. I reckon you will pay far more over MSRP and they wont budge on freight/setup. They know someone will buy the bike, especially in SoCal.

Don’t piss off the old people - the older they get the less “life in prison” is a deterrent for them!

3 Bros. in Orange has KTMs in stock according to their website. It seems like I see a lot of 3 Bros. fender stickers around. 3 Bros Husky, $100 more than the KTM but says no set up fees. The Honda is coming in hot so probably no real deal there. It's a tough time to be buying a new bike.

I've been helping frinds find 2021 Hondas and they're paying a lot of money for them.

Definitely a weird time to be in the market. I was just quoted $8800 OTD for a leftover 20 yz250f in Oregon. Seems kind of high to me.

|

Last weekend a dealer only came off a $100 from MSRP for a 21 KX450X, including shipping, taxes, doc fees it was $10760 OTD. Um no. . .

I was reading a Keefer article about testing the new Honda. His friend had bought one and that's what they were using for testing. Keefer said he paid $12k.

I was quoted $9200 in Beaverton. I was dumbfounded at that price for a bike that was going to be last years model in a couple months.

Folks, that’s why you build relationships with your local dealers. Stay loyal and they will reward you! I won’t even bother you with telling you how much I paid for my new KX250XC today. I buy my bikes from Rockhill Powersports in SC and they know I will be back. I didn’t even have to call them, they put a sold sign on the first one that came in. Please stay loyal to a good dealer and it all works out! Maybe I’m just lucky to be close to a great place.

I pick up a bike on Monday from a dealer Ive dealt with for over 30 years. He basically said they are barely getting any bikes this year, are basically making $200 on my deal (plus doc fee which we all know is a bs charge to the owner of the dealerships pocket).

Buy bikes every year and Im paying almost $500 more then what I usually do.

IF you are looking for a deal and rebates, this is not the year for a bike. IF you find any deal OTD on a 2021 450 for under 10K, you better buy it and tell your friends.

As was stated above, stick with a good dealer, I made a phone call, no hassle price, bike is being left in the crate and I pick it up Monday..... done deal

People refusing to pay msrp is how you get artificially inflated prices so dealers can actually make money. Goes the same way with cars, clothes, appliances, computers, phones... I worked at a bicycle shop in college and some items had a 100% markup so we could put a 50% off sale sign on them and still make a good profit. We are doing this to ourselves, always looking for the "deal" we've made it so there are rarely any actual good deals.

Mind posting pics and a review? I have considered getting a xc instead of a normal moto bike as my next bike.

Well said.
Not all deaers are inflating the prices. But those dealers aren't giving them away either. Which is the norm selling mx bikes.
It's a welcome change that dealers are finally able to make some money on mx bikes.
Profit isn't dirty word.
That said, some dealers are clearly trying to price gouge. I saw one dealer with a price of $9,999 for a new 21 KX 250!

" I saw one dealer with a price of $9,999 for a new 21 KX 250!"

For that price I would have kept my '18.

Depends on where you are and how many bikes the dealer has.

I got my 21 SX450F in California for just under 10 out the door with tax and Freight, 3 Brothers was 1000.00 higher.

My son wanted to race the last two nationals on a 450. I called around to several dealers in SoCal looking for a deal on a KX450. Everyone quoted me $12.5k OTD. When I tried to negotiate they all pretty much laughed and told me "good luck". Needless to say, he finished the season on his YZ250F. I have bought two YZ250Fs from Langston Motorsports. They've been the only dealership that's been willing to deal on price.
