Dude ive checked my email and cannot find it. Could u post it on here?

UPDATE ON THOMAS

today a tube was inserted into the cavity under his left lung, a pint of liquid was swilling around in there and had to go. It was stopping his breathing. Also, in 10 hrs he will be having surgery to shorten his femur (an inch) so that doctors can fold the skin under.
Other than that he is doing ok we think. Today they told us that on friday when he arrived that he was the sickest boy in europe and they thought he was a gonner. So we r lucky

more tomorrow

p.s ive just had the worst kfc on the planet

Oh man, sick kid AND bad KFC! You are having the worst week ever!

What I wanted to send you was this:
The company I work for works closely with Strider Bikes (www.striderbikes.com). I know they do a lot of community outreach, especially when it comes to sick or handicapped kids, and it occurred to me that Thomas might like to have something like that when he gets out of the hospital. I took the liberty of inquiring on your behalf and my contact there says they would love to help. I don't know what that would entail, but it is likely a free bike or something along those lines.
If you are interested, please send me your contact info so I can forward it to Strider. You can now reach me via PM on this board.

Wow thats cool thankyou so much. I will send you my details today.

im just sat here with thomas, its 6.45am and dark out. A slight breeze as I made the walk from out room but all together quite warm for feb.
in an hour or so thomas faces another hurdle in the form of a bone shortening procedure. He will b left with two metal plates in there but thats ok, I just want him to stay strong.
he has been squinting when we clean his eyes over night so thats good.
Here we are as we prepare, father and son.

Here are his stats this morning

Great to hear Travis my experience is that any sign is a positive one, your strength through all this is inspiring!

We are all pulling for your son, and I will keep the positive thoughts coming for your family and Thomas as he goes through his next procedure.

I know that riders dont tend to come on here but id love to get some sort of message from some of them, that would be amazing. Also if anybody knows of any way I could pay for some signed jerseys or helmets to thomas that would make his year also.
Actually going to the races is the best bet I know but we are on average 5,000 miles away from each ama event ha.

First thing I did this morning was check this thread. Glad to hear surgery went well and Thomas is responding when you clean his eyes.

Thomas is obviously a fighter and we're all wishing him the best.
