I have a deposit on a 2016 450FE and I was thinking it might be late February or March, but not sure when it will arrive.

I heard the same thing yesterday about getting them in January from my dealer. I hope this one is as good as the one sold today.

No I meant as good as my FE. I feel that I had it working tremendous in all areas and I hope to get the new bike working as well as the bike that I sold this morning.

Gosh 240, what is that rear tyre? Is that an 18" 120? Looks half a sand balloon tyre!

Tell ya the truth, I don't know what size it is. I know it's an 18" but that's it. I tell you that it hooks up. Dunlop Geomax

Oh ok, your 15 looked great and followed your post about it throughout the year. This will be my first KTM and first 450.
I have ridden Mostly Honda's for the last 30 years but rode mostly 125, 250 two strokes and 250f 's. Finally rode a new crf450 it was so much easier to ride than my 2 stroke. The Ktm 450 FE is going to be awesome!

What mod did they do to the rear shock reservoir?
Bones put a bladder kit in the rear shock and anodized the reservoir. Pro Circuit also has me running a special sized triangle lever they are making along with their longer pullrod. The shock is revalved as the ratio is more like the Japanese bikes, 3.5:1 ratio than the previous new KTM 2.5:1 ratio. The shock spring gets a higher spring weight with it. It seems to be really smooth!

All cleaned up and going to a new home tomorrow morning. You'd never think that my bike has 28hrs and over 20 races on it. The guy who's buying it is going to love it. It is without a doubt the best mx bike that I've ever ridden.

Looks great!

Thanks a bunch. As much as I love building and changing all of my bikes I thought these FE's were the nicest looking production bikes that I have ever seen so I worked with the stock graphics and only changed a few things on it. Thanks for your help as well and you can see that I have your cover and sticker on my bike. Thanks again and Merry Christmas, Mike

The Ohlins forks are very plush. Much appreciated when you are an old guy! HAHA!. Just got back from Pala yesterday and they are just right. Soaks up the big stuff (mistakes!) without being harsh and the little ripples and rocks just go away. The shock works just as well but Bones is trying different settings. I don't know if I am good enough to tell the difference! The bike is way faster than I want to go, but it is so fun to ride. Going off-road in the mountains in a few weeks hopefully. I had it in the desert last month and it was a blast to ride.

Yes my 15.5 also needed a remap with the race fuel. Well worth it though.

I used Toyko Mods. 1 setting and just run the same fuel. They might be able to make you a few maps that you can change wth the dial adjuster under the seat. There's room for 10 maps. Maybe give them a ring.

I forgot how much, I went to their shop and they did it in 15minutes. Maybe $75-150?
