Can someone please catch me up?

Yesterday the traction control/cheating issue was going WFO then today people are saying the JS7 team should get a apology. What turned it around?

Reed said his bikes had it for the last few years. So his L&M, Suz, and Kawi had it. Means RV, Dungey, Metty, Regal, Canard and Grant have it. Reed's current bike probably has it. Makes you wonder how he can be considered a privateer with Factory transmission and TC. I dont even think its that big a deal anyway. Just another part that gives the true privateers another disadvantage.

He should get an apology! He didn't break the rules, not even close. People need to get educated on the issue before they make a comment. But I guess that's what these forums are all about, talking shit about stuff you don't know about!

That's how it's done in Nascar land. Pretty soon they'll have radios in the riders' helmets so the TV bozos can ask them how they feel about their chances when the 30 second girl turns the card sideways.

When JS7 was interviewed about it he even acted guilty and avoided answering the question.

It turns out that they didn't do any research, or chose to ignore what they found out.

The audio from the JGR team was from practice, but they played that audio right as James' heat was about to begin while at the same time showing James rear break housing and trying to point out where the device was on his bike. It turns out that the device has nothing to do with traction control and WASN'T EVEN ON THE MOTORCYCLE during the race.

Thank you daddy P!

The show producers did all of this making it appear to be during the races?

so if i read that right, reed bubba and the rest all use tc and telemetry in practice to gather data for setup, and then it is removed for the race?

True, because JS is a savy bike mechanic. I heard after he retires he will not only own his team but also be the lead mechanic. Come on!

They should leave it on during the race and show the real time data on the broadcast. Now THAT would be awesome.

The horse got beat to death yesterday...

I thought that was the best time to beat the horse, after it was dead?
Not as challenging that way! "no sense in beating a dead horse"

x2,, Because JGR said it, it was the gospel. They should have checked it out before accusing him of it. Why not just ask Brooks first,I am sure he was standing around close. Nothing against Miss. Bates but I think it caught James off guard and to him it was a stupid question. But it did make for an exciting night.

So did he use it during Timed Practice? If he did, then it is a violation right?

Maybe people realized why Suzuki was so superior to any other bike for past two years, and what is a key to Honda`s amazing starts last year.
