That thing is in mint condition for a ‘79. Good find and have fun restoring it.

Love to know what it’s worth.. I’m assuming the guy who sold it to me thought it was a JR 50 because I got it for cheap

Absolutely not! But I’ve read in some places these are super rare and it could be worth a lot. I don’t know I’m going to keep it forever for my collection unless I find a deal I can’t pass.

Cool find! I have a 79 rm60 and that is the only place that I have found that offers a cover. I need some foam and body plastic as well and have yet to find a good source. I’ve not ever had this much trouble locating pieces before but I admit that I have lost interest and backed off my efforts.

That's great, takes me back to when I was 7, 46 now, first bike my dad bought for me. I shit myself on it, looped it trying to work out clutch control, having my dad shouting and balling put me off riding till I was about 13. Still got fond memories of it, must of been a soft shit as a kid.

It seemed frighteningly fast at the time.

Yea I am gna keep trying until it takes my payment. Just talked to a museum owner outside Austin and he’s got one in a crate. I’m headed there now to look and see what all he has, he’s got a 60 on the showroom floor he may have parts for I’ll let you know.
