well im looking for new gear to buy and i cant pick between fox, fly,answer,shift, or msr.

MSR, (of your choices) has the best reputation of reliablity. These days I am wearing AXO, and it seems to be great.

I would pick Answer then MSR of the ones listed. The new Answer Alpha stuff is pretty good.

Not on the list I know but we have had great luck with No Fear.
Durable and sheds the dirt nicely.
