Race and ride the so-cal tracks. Mainly Glen Helen and LACR. Also do a lot of Big6 gp races which is a little bit of every kind of terrain.

Cycle gear is selling mx 52 tires for 59.99 if interested. Not sure what kind of riding you but a good price for a rear tire in my opinion.

In multiple Ping builds, he runs the 53 in the front and 33 in the rear. Personally, I don’t think there’s a better tire than the 33.

The MX 52 is not ideal at places like GH or LACR. I prefer a 3s front and 33 rear. The 52's at more intermediate/hard where the 33/3s are more softer terrain. I hate the 52's on softer conditions.
