Hi all,

New to this forum, just trying to figure everything out. Thought I'd say hi.

I'm from Canada, no relation to Steve Matthes, race the Vet Junior and + 30 Classes in Regional and Provincial MX.
Love everything about MX and SX, and hope to participate in some good discussions on the topic!

Wow, two STFU's so far - what the hell is that?

Vazcsep, no I don't watch that show, I"m not a real big TV kind of guy.

MXB2, my first race bike was a 97 KX 250 two stroke, but then I bought the ALL NEW ( haha ) YZ250F in 01, and since then I have ridden 4 different thumpers.

Um...Hi, and welcome! I suggest you read the forum rules.....especially these ones.

"If you’re new, take a while to figure out the vibe of the board. Some of us have been posting together for ten years or more. It takes a while to figure out all the private jokes, pitfalls, and characters. Even if you’ve been lurking a while, don’t assume that because you think you know a poster’s personality or history, you’re free to heckle them on something. Make your own history…and make it a good one.

Noob-bashing has something of a history here. We’re not necessarily fans of it (and having a stagnant pool of board veterans isn’t completely healthy, either)…but be aware that it exists. Having reasonably thick skin is helpful. So is posting good stuff from the get-go."

Vet Jr. in canada= 65 beginner speed in america. He will be staying on the ground more than hitting triples.

Can anyone explain what a "triple" is?

Remember, I'm Canadian and race the Vet class, I don't know about all the fancy American moto terminology. Wink

As a noob yourself, maybe you should go easy on this guy eh?

PS: you've obviously never raced against a decent Canadian rider.

You need to go back and read my post about learning the vibe of this place. Don't take too much you see here personally. Just read a while and you lean who the regulars are and what their style is. Take your time.

I'm in NW Ontario/

He's one of your Canadian's.
Why don't you go to his house and tell him what's up?
I mean, how many of you are there, 30, 35?

Oh, well I guess due to the fact I finally registered last year after 5 years of lurking I have no say. Sorry sir geek TerryK.

Klatt, Beaton, Faciotti, Morgan, Wilson...I've raced against some Canucks. Ever checked out a local Canada race? Not a very deep talent pool. I spent a few months up there doing Canadian Nationals in 08 and got a taste for Canada Moto. Lot's of rolling of jumps going on up there.

I was giving him a bonus rider to make him feel warm and fuzzy. Wilson was in America when i raced him anyways.
