mxgp moto 2 shitcanned

seems second moto got cancelled due to track conditions , i dont think the riders wanted any part of it and tc was the ring leader by the look of it . He was pretty pissed at the end of the first moto too . Never seen a moto canned at that level before . It does suck when one bog hole can influence a championship i spose .

It has happened before, in Spain, 2008 I think.
Might be wrong on both place and year, but it did happen 2nd race and yes the riders refused to race!

Spain 2008: MX2 raced two races, MX1 just one.
Italy 2009: Both classes only raced one race.
Brazil 2012: Both classes raced two races.

It can happen. To say Indonesia should be left aside in the future is a little shortminded imo. You don't control the weather. It would be the same to say we never should go to Spain and Italy again because it can rain a lot over there.

It has happened at the Des nations , UK , fox hill cut short.
It could happen this year at Matterly, who knows!?

Well maybe they shouldn't schedule the race in the heart of the rainy season...

The second MX2 race (without the bog, no less) was a debacle. They were right to pull the plug. The whole weekend was a debacle.

I watched the broadcast last night, and yes the bog should have been cut out. But I don't think it was necessary to cancel the second moto. A better decision would have to been to shorten the motos and still run 4. 20+2 or even 25+2.

Aside from the that it was pretty amazing watching those guys get around and how fast they were going in those conditions!

The Spain MX2 2nd race was decided by who could make it up the double uphill section. Remember how the riders stopped at the base and formed a line to attempt that hill one at a time

MXGp guys are too used to riding perfectly groomed tracks and don't know how to ride a rough/wet track, bunch of mouthbreathers

Global warming can kill the polar bears, whatever...but it crossed a line messing with moto...humanity needs to fix this...no matter the cost...even if it will save just one moto it will be worth it.

The scooters were making it around the track so not sure why they stopped the race. Magoo would have kept going.

American pro riders hate dry blue groove hard pack so it was removed from the national circuits so there's that.

What was the race where Carmichael lapped the field? Pretty sure Indonesia wasn't worse than that. Would have liked to see Simpson give a shot at lapping everyone

Indonesia makes Millville 06 look like a dry track, have you watched the videos?

Haven't seen the Millville ones on a while, might have to go back and rewatch. Seems like a good project tomorrow. You know, for scientific purposes.
