Anyone notice that 33 is being made in a 120/80/19 and a 120/90/19. I dont think this has been a much of a option before. The 120/90/19 is 9/10s of a inch bigger in overall diameter and the sidewall is 1/2" taller. Pro's.....cons...?

120/90-19 was the ole' 500 tire of choice; with 450's making an equivalent amount of torque and hp nowadays, it's easy to see why more 120/90's are appearing on the market. Possibly designed for more SX style tracks, better turning with the added height and absorption?

Interesting to note that Brayton ran a 110/90-19 in SX; believe he claimed more consistent turning and easier to navigate rutted turns.

Guess i am not old enough to remember that. Think I am just going with the 120/80 seems like if you go with the 90 you will also have to take different gearing into consideration.

I noticed that. I will be trying one on my YZ250 for woods riding. I think it will be great for those of use that haven't gone to a 18" rear.
