Some of us have been here for 15+ years... I just wanted to take a minute and stop and think about how cool this journey has been. Steve (guyb) has taken this ship from a few posters on a server that crashed once a week, to one of the industry leading information sites and the most popular message board in MX/SX.

There have been a lot of characters along the way. Lots of 'arguments', but also A LOT of friendships made! Heck, even Big Lenny and I talk on the phone from time to time, when we used to be 'mortal enemies'. It's still awkward when I tell my wife or family that we are meeting an 'internet friend' at a SX or MX race...but so far, they've all been pretty good dudes (even old fart wasn't too bad in person)


Anyway, I just wanted to thank Steve (I can't thank him enough lol) for all the bullshit he's put up with and providing us all a place to cut up a little. I'd also like to nominate him for the first ever inductee to the VitalMX poster Hall of Fame...it would be cool if we could make it an annual event and add a few posters from the past to it...just to remember some of them. We've lost some good ones along the way!

I used to lurk in the Motodrive days, but I was reluctant to join/post. Seemed like a scary place, kinda like the Mos Eisely Spaceport of the internet.

Havent been around since the beginning, but long enough at the old MD to see plenty of Big Lenny, EID, P, etc. meltdowns. Dont post often, but when I do, its mainly just to see my own sig gif...gotta pass the time somehow...

I don't think I actually ever posted at MD and just lurked back then. I did start my posting career at FD , but even that place was kind of nuts. When I signed up here in 07' I think this place had only been going for about a year or so. Lots of guys who " used to be here " , either moved on to another board or just got away for good. There has been some pretty wild shit over the years. And yeah , big thanks to Steve for having the patience to keep this place going in the right direction.

Been a lot of fun, met a lot of folks, seen a lot of things, made a little money, spent a little money, flew in and played factory rider on a Mugen at Unaf'ndilla just this weekend thanks to Vital member sgthubbard....good times. Jumping into Gravity Cavity just got checked off the bucket list.

Someone posted that they saw him at a track and he was passed out in the pits. Another time he agreed to pickup teggers at the airport but didn't show up cause he was in jail.

I have been on Motodrive/VitalMX close to 12 years --- I would meet any of the regulars at a race or a bar. All is good.... even when some of the conversations get heated.
