man,he had it going on in those whoops.

No doubt
He came from the back, after crashing and almost had Wilson at the end. He finished 2 seconds behind Kenny, which is quite the accomplishment, IMO.
I’m hoping he can bring his speed again on Sunday, a podium would be awesome, although that’s a pretty tall order with the current speed of top 5.
Tomac, Webb, Roczen are favorites, but there are 4-5 others fighting for the top 5.
The break seems to have helped some riders recover from injury and get the rest they needed.

Mookie baffles me sometimes. His speed is so unbelievable in sections, or at a particular race, and then he's almost invisible the next time... It's like Rob Herring, Robbie Reynard, Ezra Lusk... he's like a spring sometimes and a piece of string others.

the way he past the defending champion late in that heat race win ,i was certain he would hammer down in the main.

When was the last time we saw Malcom reel in the champ and pass him with ease? That was great to watch.

|

6/4/2020 11:24 AM

Can a guy actually go that fast in the whoops 26 times in a main without having your lungs and thighs blow up?

|

6/4/2020 12:01 PM

Mookie has the speed to win, he's just got to put it all together.... Looks like that Honda is Ripping!!

He did finish just behind Roczen with crash in first lap and did pass Webb for in win in heat race... He is podium guy when he keeps it on two wheels.

|

6/4/2020 12:37 PM

There isn't a guy out there that i'd like to see get a W more than Mookie.

|

6/4/2020 6:36 PM

He is on the verge of making it happen

|

6/4/2020 6:50 PM

HRC should sign Mookie for next season.

|

He was fun to watch in those whoops! I was stoked when he pulled off the heat race win.

pretty sure from live timing his best laps came late in the race?

Has he ever got a top 5 in 450’s ? Maybe 1 ?
Needs to get a few of them to start with. Running top 5 pace for a full main event will work you.. not sure if Mookies fitness will hold up..
(Coming through the pack Is different btw)

And from the looks of things.... Sexton may end up leaving the 250 class with just 1 250 sx regional title instead of 2 with the way Shane has been riding....err I mean praying these days 😂😂😂😂

Sexton is 7 years younger with more upside.

You're right, they both have 1 regional 250 SX title.

Difference is Sexton's year isn't over and he could grab more wins and a 2nd title. Not only that but he got his first win in his second season and won the title the same year.

Malcolm got his first 250 SX win in his 5th year in the class and won the other 2 in his 6th along with the title.

Difference is we’ve never even seen sexton on a 450 before. I’d be wanting to see him on a 450 before Making a decision over what’s on their 250 resume

They get 450 rides based on their 250 careers. You know that.

No one knows if it's going to work out. Some guys adapt to the big bike just fine, some struggle, and some just never figure it out.

It still doesn't change the fact that they get rides based on their 250 accomplishments.

If they didn’t knock the whoops down in practice, Mookie would have made a lot more passes in the main.
