What difference does it make? None of these pansies would be caught dead riding in the rain and muck anyway. Silly

I use your technique. Wrap some safety wire and you're good to go.

I use this crazy crap called grip glue.

Gary Bailey said use spray paint if you are in a hurry.

Done it all, but I recently tried Grip-it at a track when my grip came loose during a ride and I like it. Instant stick and the grip will not even budge. Everything else I have used works but my death grip will still slowly rotate them around. With Grip-it it wont budge and it sets in about 1 minute. I never would have tried it on my own because I like the old ways but now I am sold.

I saw a guy lose a grip mid whip over an 80' table top...it was an ugly (UGLY) landing. He was trying to whip it for photos so he was really flattened out. He tumbled a while.

I decided that I would always make sure my grips were secure. Spray a little poly in the grip...roll it around for a good coat. let the excess drip out. slide it on. Let it set.

Single safety wire on the inside. No problems.

Some chemicals attack certain compounds.

I use Scott grip glue.

One little tube does a set...No need for safety wire if it is done correctly...Prep is the hard part, a clean throttle tube, and handle bare bar is best...

keep your grimy fingers off after you prep it. I always see people (after the prep), run their hands, or fingers, over the surface... DUMB !

Grip Glue on a dry and clean surface and safety wire. Place a small amount of glue around the opening of the grip. This will help ithe grip to not get stuck half way on. Most of the other methods will work, but if you fall in a moto and get a tear in the grip, {especially if there is moisture}, it can and will allow the grip to slip. Sagety wire pliers are cheap and a roll of wire should last a lifetime{until somebody borrows it and never returns it}.

Grip glue and safety wire has always worked fine for me. I don't put much thought into my grips...just put them on and run it.

I use Honda grip cement. It is the best. Especially in the kind of race I was in last weekend! Also safety wire in three spots on each grip and a coin in the grip end.

An enamel-based spray paint and safety wire.

It's been hit or miss with me and grip glue.

Nobody uses electrical tape and carb cleaner? That was my old standby before I went to SG.

Upholstery contact adhesive.. thin layer on the bars and a little bit inside the grip with a screwdriver to spread it round in there, wait 20 odd seconds for it to go a little tacky, then slide the fooker on there asap as you dont get long to get it into position. Dried and ready to ride in an hour. Peels off easy when you change next time, just cut the grip off then peel the glue off. As far as i can tell its what yamy use from factory and works well and quick.
