Anyone want to take a shot on how Kurt will do at the wick?
It will be his first national ever.
I don't know about him and sand but as a off-road legend I am sure he is more then capable of riding in it.
I'm putting him down for Top 12-15.

Is he realy entered...?

Huh.

He's coming back from a pretty damn serious injury; however, when someone like MC says, "Man, that guy might be the best rider I've EVER seen!"...well...

He may very well have a top 10 in him.

He IS that good.

Speed is speed and I think with a few nationals under his belt he might go top ten, but tomorrow I would guess in the 20s.

Having ridden with kurt a few times and in the sand even, i'll say... 17-15th first moto... and anywhere from 15th up to 10th second moto... guy excels when it gets NASTY rough in the sand... but that is my opinion of course...

On any other track I would say that.
But being a off-road guy, he knows how to take a beating on a track for long periods of time.
I think at the Wick with it nice and rough, his endurance and line choices will shine.

I concur...and then there's this...

Temps in the 80s and Humidity anywhere from 90-70%...and let's not forget the chance of Thunderstorms.

I'm jus' sayin'...

Are you asking how Destry Abbott would do? He just finished 3rd at Loretta Lynn's in the 40+ class and 5th in 35+, so I think he would have a hard time at a pro national. He's a bad ass no doubt, but .......................

I think he wants Desrty's opinion on how Kurt will do (since A. Destry posts on here from time to time and B. Destry has raced Kurt many times, and in the sand to boot)

Hey if a huge tree falls onto the track, 1-1 , ...... When he used to come out here for fund raisers for the US ISDE team, he was awesome on our national track (until the lawyers and a law suit shut it down ) . I am hoping for a top 15 ...

And Destry has a few Nationals under his belt also. ( I seem to remember a hole shot @ Washougal a couple years ago)

Since hartebreak was the only one to actually make a prediction rather than post opinion....

13/7 for 10th overall.

He is an amazing talent, will probably be getting good offers from Star/Valli for next year MX.

I can't find any national results that include Destry.
I am a huge fan of his too.

I have no first hand knowledge of how Kurt might do. But I'll go with the crowd and say he has skill on a bike that should suite him well at the 'wick.

As for Destry, he had some bike troubles at LL that are partly to blame for those moto finishes.

if it was for a million bucks Caselli wouldn't go to Star/Valli, just ask his buddy Kyle Summers. Qualified 33rd out of 36 today, he's got some work to do

I'm saying 2, 2.
Rookie's going to show him where a Podium Endurocrosser's, Works racer's, Supercross' and Arenacrosser's fast line around the sandbox is

Kevin's been riding good but don't think he's got anything for Kurt although his times are quicker, long race though!!

Do we all still have the same Predictions after Qualifying 33rd?

Then there's this:

Does he have one of the good clutches?

Why the question...?

Anyone care to Discuss "KTM Greatness" in the face of Brownies bike failing to work right and the end of a Single Moto?

(Production-based FE/'13 clutches seem to be lame POS's...)

Shame on the Pumpkin!

Shame!

He'll have plenty for Kurt', apart from bike setup assistance... #71 needs more support!

Yup.

I am not banking on his speed to be his driving force today.
Banking on his endurance and line choices from Enduro.
I hold to my Top 12-15.

Thats like doubting JYD after qualifying 36th Wink
