Gotta run in a 450cc class or any of the "open" classes like Schoolboy, +25, etc
Cant run a 350 in schoolboy. Schoolboy is not an open class, cant even run a 250 2T.

Where I live, you have to run it in the GP (open) or MX1. Which, is why I'm weary to get one. Not only do I want to race my friends when I get out of Beginner, but the MX1 Junior guys are faster than the MX2 Junior guys. I wouldnt do it on a 450 either though lol. If you dont mind racing against 450s, go for it. But if you want to ride MX2, youd be crazy not to run a 250 2t. More power, lighter, and legal! Especially if you're coming off a 125, because then you'll know how to work the gear! Only a seasoned 2 stroke pilot can make use of the power advantage the 250 2t has over the 250f.

Back on topic: If you dont mind racing against 450s, get a 350 if you want one. If not, get a 250f/250 2t.

In Canada you can run the 350 in the Youth class...it's an open class to all bikes. Ages 14-24Smile
