When he was about ten years old on a modded KLX110 he almost ran me down on my fire breathing 74 CR250 vintage racer. I was battling for the lead and started hearing something going on behind me. Looked over my shoulder and he was railing turns and coming on fast. Funny as hell.

Funny how someone like Bailey and Howerton have kids that rail. But how you hardly hear of them racing much if any.

Funny, I was there that day, I saw my truck next to the track near the shop. He was hauling ass, no doubt!

From what I'm told by a family friend the kid just doesn't want to race at a professional level.

I saw him riding a 450 Honda this summer, I believe he destroyed it. Kent stood out in the hot sun for about two hours watching him ride.

Texas is definitely spoiled. But in my humble opinion Cycle Ranch doesn't have anything on Underground. Now that is a man's track.

He had a CRF250 that kept blowing up... Then he grenaded Kent's CRF450. Apparently Kent got pissed about it all, and they both got new KTM two strokes. I dont really know the kid, but he certainly has a boat load of talent, more than lots of the hot, up and coming kids that people rant and rave about. His dad just realizes how hard it is to make the risk pay off in the long run, and knows how important and education is. The years and years of riding, racing and injuries at that level have definitely taken its toll on Kent, who is a smart man. I'm sure he knows the kid can be just as successful in other areas of life, without such severe consequences..

I saw photos of what I think was a CRF250 with the cases grenaded and internals exposed and scattered in the debris field. I seriously doubt there was anything salvageable in that whole mess. And I would bet that it was not from a lack of maintenance. Kent is a very sharp and knowledgable individual with excellent mechanical skills. Impressed the hell out of me when I went to his house to pick up his old SR500 works Kawi.

Havent seen any fellatio going on, but since your are from NJ I'll give you this comparison. Nick Desiderio (who I would label as being pretty effin' fast) was at this track once a while back and didn't have shit for this kid. Doesn't sound like "hundreds" to me, but what do I know.

If I'm not mistaken, that was his dads bike. Broken side cases and all. What a mess!

Oh shoot. In that case my bad.

Desiderio at the kid's home track with you as a witness telling me about it on the internet?

My bad.

See him at A1? Oh that's right, he's got a math test. Red Bud over the summer break?
