i have been slacking on here lately, but i thought erin or georgia was getting the tv announcing duties?? i noticed kelli last week also, but thought it was a 1 off deal.

Georgia's paperwork still hasn't gone through apparently, hopefully next week we'll have her out there. I'll be at Thunder Valley and I'll try to track her down and get an update

Weege said that prior to last week the new girl had never been to a MX race. She sure studied up and prepared because last week you could not tell and she is on point today as well.

I Like her use of words. She got a little jumbled up with the Mcgrath piece, but overall did a far better job imo than the others... No disrespect to the others, they are not bad at all.

Will be happy to see her all season long.

Apparently she is a pit reporter for a bunch of other stuff. So far she is doing a good job and I definitely noticed an improvement from round 1 to round 2, I'm definitely okay if she lands the gig for the remainder of the year and Erin sticks with her SX only contract. (joking- I'm just guessing she isn't announcing MX because the coverage isn't on Speed this year).

This Kelli girl is a natural. She looks composed and confident (in a sport she hasn't been reporting on for 6+ years). She doesn't look scared and can string a nice grouping of questions together without tripping over every 3rd word. She may have called Jake,James but the girl has a very professional yet relaxed manner and I don't cringe every time they cut to her.She comes off like she is just having a conversation with you which is much more palatable than the cookie cutter/singsong tone. She may not be as hot as some girls(though she looks great), but her talent as an interviewer is only rivaled by Jamie Little,IMHO.Good call on the upgrade.

I'd totally agree, 3 races in and she is doing a great job. The first race she reported was a little rough but she was better at Freestone, and perfect in Lakewood, none of the conversations sound forced or awkward on her end. I hope she gets to stick around for the remaining MX rounds although from the last RacerX column it sounds like Georgia is getting the spot for all remaining races.

According to the twitters, Kelli will be back for round 4! She is way too good to not become a permanent fixture in the outdoor coverage.
