It adds about 5 bucks to their bill.

Then get you a dish from either a Comcast installer or dish installer,they will have several from switching folks out.

Direct does not know where that receiver is as long as you don't hook the phoneline to it.

You wont have hd or whatever the phoneline is used for but it works for me and I will take the 5bucks over hd anyday.
