Missed the original post, but I’d assume he’s talking about Brandon Layton. Legit “next big thing” caliber rider that was killed. Don’t know the story of how first-hand. As I recall it was something to do with another rider going the wrong way, but that might have just been rumor. Hopefully someone will correct me if that’s not correct.

What in the hell is this thread , and what the hell are you talking about? I knew Brandon a little bit way back when , and am friends with people that were extremely close to him. Did you even know him? Why don't you just spell out your name so I can either know it's true , or you're full of shit?

You some kind of a whack job or something? I don't know who you are , or even why you brought this subject up?

Thanks for clearing that up, Jeff. I was reading this earlier today and wondering what the dude was on about. I went back through his previous few posts trying to figure where you discussed anything with him. Didn't see it.

Think I came off a bit strong on that reply.

Look man , if Brandon was your friend or whatever , I'm sorry for your loss. It sucked when he passed away. But as far as I go.....I didn't really know him all that well. He was quite a bit younger than I was. I mean I only met him probably a handful of times , and he was a great kid. He was friends with a lot of the younger crowd , which I knew and still know.

So after thinking about this thread last night , I have no idea why you brought my name up? Tons of people in the NW knew him a lot better than I ever did. Maybe you're thinking of someone else?
