hi wondering if anybody can help, bought my son a little husky boy and it is lacking power. it took the air filter of the old mesh type of cleaned it up put it back on, took it out to try before i put the plastic cover back on and what a diference going at least 6 times quicke and sounds alot betterr, but as soon at i put the black plastic cover back on all power is lost. anyone have a clue what is going on, its the proper cover for the carb, must be getting starved of air but why?? thanks chris

What do you mean by black cover? The number plate? If so drill some holes in the number plate

Chris, these questions should really be posted in the Tech Help/Race Shop section. by the way.. you can call any dealership in the UK that sold Husqvarna's in the late 90s / early 2000's and they can point you in the direction of the UK parts supplier for the Morini motor in your boys bike
