The early KTM 50 used that engine as well ,right ? I picked one up cheap with a new stator installed. Ignitions are a bit tough to find, or were at one point. Morini has been out of business for a while now.

It's legit. Approx 2002 Husky CR50J, I believe. Has the Morini S6 motor. Many different peewee MX bikes came outfitted with the Morini motors, including many KTM 50cc models (especially 90s/early 2000s), LEM and Italjet. Parts should be easy to find

you can see a little better in this picture, that the chain is just banging on the frame, just not convinced its the right swing arm on the bike, also the exhaust, the huskys that i have seen the exhausts are fat at the bottom where mine is thickens under the plastics, more koke the malagusti grizzly

Early style three shoe clutch. Hard to find. The retro fit is the three shoe clutch from the '02-'08 KTM 50, with the washer stacks. A real pain in the arsehole.https://www.morinifrancousa.com/s6parts/3%20shoe%20clutch%20kit%20early…

I have one of these sitting in the shed for years now. I’ll check my swingarm and see.

Call Dean at R&D..... he had a “Dominator “ clutch setup back in the day that was incredible. Was based off the Morini engine, and I think that’s what you may have. No promises, but Dean is a good lead..... best of luck.

Searched a bit on the webz. Not even a single image of that old style clutch. Unless there is one sitting on a shelf at a shop, the conversion to the washer type ,three shoe KTM clutch looks like the only option.

Possible that the existing shoes can be re-lined with new fibers. Automobile brake or clutch shops may be able to help.

For what it is worth, my old 2001 KTM ( Morini engine) used the old two shoe clutch, with the splines. If the matching basket was had, do not see why this set up would not bolt on the Husky (Morini). Would sure save a lot of the head aches associated with the bevel washered, three shoe clutch.

If the three shoe is decided on, experimenting with the washer stacks is a fact of life. Get a few extra washers, a couple of extra clutch cover gaskets, and a set of digital calipers to measure the stack height of the washers.

Adjustment is kind of a pain in the arse on them. For a rider, not a racer, the two shoe would make life easier, but just not the adjustment range of the washered three shoe set up.
