Had a posterior dislocation back in 04. I feel his pain as it was the worst I have ever gone through.

Sadly, I can say "been there done that". I had a complete dislocation and surgery from a crash in 2004. Screws holding the top of my femur together. Until this Jan, I finally had to get my hip completely replaced. Even at 41 years old a new hip isn't slowing me down that much.

Rough day for Jarryd but he'll be ok down the road. Get well soon wishes for him.

I have to say, McNeil has to be one of the most talented people on a bike, the stuff that guy does is just unreal. National level speed on a track, craziest whips out of anyone bar none, and some huge fmx tricks to round it out. Hope he heals up quick, definitely one of my favorites to watch ride.

That crash doesn't surprise me considering it's another Typical Dust Games landing.

Every X games event is a dry, dusty, slippery blue grooved pile of shit. Supermoto, Rally, Freestyle, it's a dry, dusty, pile of shit course, except for the 2 spots they Flood the thing and turn it into snot.

Seriously, a couple kids with some hoses to just keep it lightly wet and it would be way better and cost them a free tshirt and free drinks and a hot dog.

All these years, it's still shit I wouldn't want to ride on.

The landing should have been way bigger IMO.
They mentioned it was supposed to be, but they ran out of dirt

Agreed. McNeil's whips should've won the best whip contest. This crash was pretty ugly with how quickly he got whipped around.

Nope, it's typical garbage conditions. Look at the pic and watch the video.

The stands are empty because who wants to sit in a dustbowl?

We left the X games deal in LA due to it was so dusty you couldnt even see the guys.
It's a piss poor production. Private tracks have `10X better conditions.

Dislocated hip is what retired McGrath.

Never had one, but I hear it is much worse than breaking a femur from a pain and recovery perspective...
