how was the 2015 sxf 450/350

if i look at the market now there is alot of 2015 ktm 450 and 350 for little money and low hours, and every body talks about how good the 2016 and up ktm´s are but if you dont count in suspension in the 15s ktm they where pretty solid bikes i assume. i have never ridden a ktm but i think my next bike will be one. how did the 15 ktms ride ? did they turn good ? turning is important to me. was the engine solid both 450/350 ? and is there any way you could but a shock from a 16 frame on a 15 ? Thanks

I rode a 15 350 with onlins and really liked it. I didn't ride it enough though to give you a real break down.

There's a lot of difference between the '15 and '16, but with that being said, the '15 does pretty much the same things well that the '16 does... the '16 just does them a little better and about 7 lbs lighter.

The 15 has the old frame. The 15.5 FE got the new fram that became the 16's that made a huge difference.

I'm a reasonably competitive vet rider and bought a '15 350sxf in late 2015. I came off a KX450 that I loved.

I have soooo much fun on this 350!! Its easy to ride, corners great, and just as stable as the big green pig in the rough. I had the forks changed out to SSS before I even rode it though.

I'm not any slower or faster than I was on the KXF. But it sure is more fun to ride.

I wouldnt think twice about picking up a clean '15, especially since they have orange frames!

I had a '15 350. The power was fun, rear shock good, forks not the best. I just could never feel good gripping the bike with my legs. The frame is wide at your ankles so it just didn't feel right to me. The '16 frame is totally different in that respect.

ok, im think im leeaning towards a 350 more and more, i like the idea of a older frame ktm there is alot of trax shock and conevalves forks for good prices. i know the forks will fit the newer frame also.
thanks.
