It's pretty amazing in my eyes Pj Larsen doesnt have a ride top 10 in supercross (11th) OA had bad luck outdoors but ran a solid pace for being hurt and coming back early. It was his rookie year thought he was pretty solid. I guess amateur results or awards dont mean as much as people think.

has it ever occured to anyone that most of these guys probably have had offers, and they turned the down for one reason or another?

Matthes made it seem like Ferry was prepared to sit out the season unless he got offered a program that would allow him to prepare how he would like to i.e. build and maintain a SX track, practice mechaninc, adequate pay...

Perhaps these guys have been enjoying the gravy train too long without performing up to their pay bracket and expectations!
Seem's they may be unwilling to accept what is their current market value with all the young kids and fast Euro teenagers coming on strong.

Not sad at all IMO. All 4 guys you mentioned could not finish top 15 the 250F class at the outdoor Nationals. They are only in this sport today because the young lites riders would not move up. With the new bump up rule coming in the days of the Journeyman pro mxer are gone.

The factories have finally figured out you can't pour millions of dollars into top 10 motorcycle racers. The top few percent are going to make the big money, and the rest are going to be fighting over the scraps.

If people can afford to be picky about the type of ride they want, but don't win on a regular basis, they are probably going to be watching instead of riding very soon.

I don't like these changes, but they are real life and going to change our sport for good.

I think Ivan and burner both deserve rides for sure. They both got stronger as the season went on , and it seemed like they were almost always right in the mix of things. BUT.....with that being said , there were some fats guys out , and in the nationals.....there were A LOT sitting out with injuries. What like 6 or so of the usual top 10 guys out?

that's a good one. Maybe they will add a freak style rider like Scott Murray for his goon double backflip attempts too. What a team that would be.
