honda plastic

i ordered some new plastic for my 2012 honda and it looks orange compared to the stocl plastic. its acerbis plastic. my question is does the factory platic have a deeper red color to it or is there other brands where the color is closer. thanks

hrmm, I didnt notice it being a different tint on my dads 450, however I did notice that the sidepanel air vents arent there on the Acerbis sidepanels he bought...

yeah when you match it up the factory plastic looks darker red. i mean its going to be almost completely covered with graphics. i was just curious if some other plastic color matched better

Sounds like you got the euro version of the honda plastics, for the 2011/12 euro models honda blanked off the air vents and added a huge muffler to comply with noise restrictions. We have the Euro Hondas here in NZ, so lots of guys change out the side panels with 2010 models (which have the vents) and fit after market pipes to help the bike breathe again.
