For the record, I'm no pro, i don't race for a living, i just love to watch and ride mx. To me it seems like these doubles and supercross style jumps should be removed and let the track make itself as the riders ride. There is no need for a 150 foot step up. Just make it a large hill and a natural lip that floats away. It would make for much better racing and show the true skills of the riders.

I'm not a fan of the 150ft triple either. But Hangtown is still an awesome track

Too dangerous as well. 450's are unrideable and national tracks need speed limit signs.

I'll just leave this here for you. Should be one coming near you.

I think they need a 200' quint out there.

What's with this noob anyways. Doesn't look like he's gotten his STFU yet. Welcome asshole. Work on your posting before posting again.

People who dont like it are old vet guys who cant hit 150 triples....get over it, you're not riding the track. If the riders like it then who cares.

Excuse me Hut but I run A 4 stroke Lites in GNCC and before putting them down maybe you should go try and run XC1 speed for 3 hours.

I don't mean to speak for Hut, but I didn't get the impression he was putting them down in any way whatsoever. I think he was just pointing out there are different types of motorcycle racing. Hut, feel free to correct me if I'm off base.

Edit: hahahahaha. effing did it again. You would figure I would learn by now.

Why doesn't anyone see the REAL problem with MX?

MX started supercross. Superbowl of Motocross, right?

So MX is ultimately to blame for big jumps.

No mx, no sx, then impossible for sx to make mx too much like sx, because mx didn't exist to lead to sx.

I fucking hate everything.

Who needs 150ft triples when you can have 15ft tables with lethal kickers on them

I'm not fishing but I dislike this argument for it's lack of thought. There's plenty of 150ft jumps, they just don't have the room or run up to hit them. Tongue

Basically what you're saying is "It's not SX because it doesnt' exist in SX, but nothing would exist in SX if it didn't exist in MX first so SX doesn't exist, it's just MX"

Ton's of moved dirt, big booter lip, unnatural. Just like SX.

I'll let is slide only because it's on the side of a hill and because I don't think it's 150ft but I'll take their word for it.

I like the halfpipe more than this jump. I know how they will negotiate this, I don't know how they will negotiate the halfpipe.
