for you graphics/printing guys

I am looking to get a wide format printer for my business. It got me thinking.. why not get something that I can also use to do moto graphics, jet ski graphics, etc. Not really for business but more for myself and to tinker.

I'm curious though, do the printers that graphics companies use also do the cutting or is it a separate plotter? I know the laminater is a separate piece of equipment.

I know it's not exactly moto related but I appreciate the help.
