...heard a little rumor in atlanta this weekend. From what i have been told (by a really reliable source) is that there will be a 125 trying to qualify at daytona.

A 125 competing against 250's just doesn't sound right for some reason or other. I do wish him luck and will be on the lookout. Should just go ahead and make it a 167cc big bore stroker and run it on rocket fuel to make things a little more even though, I won't tell.

1/2 the displacement, but it'll be the funnest thing to throw around wide open on that track. And, it'll sound beautiful!

Cats outta the bag. Dang twitter. Yes I will be riding a Yz 125 at Daytona. Hopefully it sounds as cool as it sounds too. Will be awesome to line up on the gate for supercross on a 125!

I am right behind this, and all the other two stroke fans on here should be as well. If this guy can make it to the main event, I will also put up $125, and from there hopefully we can get him to race a few more rounds. Would be epic to see. C'mon, I know there are a lot of massive two stroke fans on here, please dig deep and commit to donating some cash if we see the 125 in the night show. I know I cant wait for Daytona now !!

I heard instead they put in lawnmower engines which make about 60% of the power, yet weigh 10 pounds more, with much more complexity. Personally, I would've just used the cinder block, instead of that cutting-edge 4-stroke technology which has been around since the 1800's. Hi-tech...no doubt....

It will be extremely hard for him to make the night show. He will have to ride the wheels off it to make a lap before qualifying ends.
