so my sons ktm lost a clutch bearing inside the motor, there is still some metal that i see in the cases. Motor is fine and i just wanna know what people use to flush it out to get everything out. I could just buy a jug of oil, just want to k now what everyone else uses that could be helpful.

I've always used lots of gas. Its thin, cuts all the oil and gets into all the small parts easy.
If its a 4 stroke with only 1 oil, thats a problem as metal gets circulated.

Gasoline is kinda dangerous. Have I done it? Yes. Was it smart? Not really.

May want to go with something with a higher flash point, like diesel fuel.

But gas cleans your hands too.
Diesel and Kerosene etc is a mess.

I use Maxima Suspension Clean on just about everything suspension or motor related. It's very effective and safe on seals, orings etc .

Do it right and split the cases. The chances of getting 100% of it out is slim to none. That 1 piece of loose metal will turn into even more.

Risking the whole engine. It's a lot cheaper and easier to split the cases than rebuild everything.

Big metal pieces bouncing around the transition can do damage to the gears. Split the cases and magnaflux the gears and shift forks.

Just split the cases and rebuild it right. not worth the hassle if you miss one tiny piece of metal.
