Have fun in your thread here lads, Im sure you all love motocross as much as me, maybe just not some kinds of motocross bikes..
Me..I love them all..2 strokes..4 strokes..no stokes..and seeing as how your thread welcomes and includes all posters , I will be sure to come back here and post a video of me riding my new no stroke bike ,when it arrives, down on the natural terrain grasstrack mx course , under lights on a week night here where I live..woulda done that already but I dont wanna disturb the neighbours riding my 450..
On another note..not sure where im gonna put it, plus I will probably have a new 125 by then, so that means 10 bikes in here..any ideas..lateral thinking?
When I drew up the plan I allowed room for 2 bikes on each side ,wheel to wheel. And designed a simple elevated bike stand system so that I could put another bike above each one below.
Its just 100 mm square section steel upright slotted into base plate and top plate, the upright pole has a sliding bike stand on it . I put steel bar over the roof of the container to mount eye bolts through, which protrude through the ceiling in the container.
I just slip a tiedown through the frame of the bike and hook it together over the seat nice and snug, then hook up a small block and tackle to the ceiling eye bolt and to the tiedown on the bike...then hoist the bike up to the ceiling with the block and takle, slide the stand up under the frame rails and put the locater pin under it through the upright pole...simple as can be and works like a charm...but with 2 more bikes in here Im gonna be getting handlebars in the ribs as I stumble down between them in the dark..
More good news...Jeff Leisk has signed on to be the head of Stark Future Australia...I have massive respect for that man and everything he achieved, apparently he feels strongly enough about the stark thing to come out of retirement to take up the position..
Tonight at sundown, I was having a beer down the back paddock where Im going to be riding my stark vark in october , if all goes to schedule..and I thought of you lads! I hope you are enjoying motocross as much as I am .this weekend, Im gonna do some laps on my 125..love 125's! Cheers..happy beers!

I have not ordered a Stark, but it's more because I don't have 12 grand than because I don't think it will be a good bike. I want something like it! (Hello? Yamaha?)
Post a reply to: discussion for those that have NOT ordered a Stark Varg, everyone else go away!
