Was a little crowded at the practice session today, was trying to pass through the pack when somebody got a little squirrely and shot into me... one of those "ohshitohshitohshit, I think I'm okOHFUCK!" moments
Crazy footage. I was thinking the same thing as others. In the moto community, even if someone is at fault, we should always check on them when they are down.
Side note: can we all agree the chest view for GoPro's is pretty bad?
Hold on there guys, I picked my bike up first thinking he would get up right away, when I noticed he was still down and not moving, I laid my bike back down to go help, but I laid it down on his wheel, so I moved it, and when I turned around he sat right up and was visibly fine. The go pro didn't catch him coming over to apologize and me telling him no problem, shit happens. Don't burn the witch yet guys

Vital quick to pass judgement without all the facts?? Never I say!

Yeah I thought you were a dick at first too, but that's good. Hopefully he was alright. I mean, you did crash too, it takes most people a few seconds to sort of collect themselves after a spill.
LOL, the guy is laying there motionless for a good while and you are checking on your hand guards and levers, plastics etc. The dick comments were spot on. You wanna run through practice like you're the next James Stewart and post the video... enjoy what comes with it.
Its archview in Washington park, IL. Right next to I-64. I think it is false advertising to call it Archview, because there is no part of the track that you can see the actual Slt Arch.
At least that track is close to a bunch of "anything goes" tittie bars, can't say that about any other track in the country... And no, you can't see the arch from the track, yes the name is misleading...

You couldn't be talking about Larry Flints Hustler Club could you??
Wouldn't know anything about it.
Excuse me for having a 5 second delayed reaction after getting smacked in the face with a bike
the chest mount doesn't show which way my helmet is pointed, so what was in plain view on film wasn't what I was seeing, as soon as I noticed he wasn't moving I set my bike down, albeit in the way at first, as soon as I got it out of the way he popped back up as chipper as ever. It didn't catch him coming over and us talking it out, and him apologizing even though he didn't need too. He got cross fitted in some pretty nasty ruts, could have just as easily been me. Nobody there had a problem with anybody.
edit: somebody else brought this to my attention, you hear me go "son of a bitch, man!" as I get up, "son of a bitch" is my favorite phrase to throw out whenever anything goes awry, and the "man" is just part of my hippie vocabulary. Next time it'll probably be "dude"
Coulda been me, if I had been there.
The Shop
Is what my dad said from the other side of the room as I watched this.

That said, you are still a dick for not going to ask him if he was OK
Something like this, Bro.
P.S. actually that's why I don't care for open practice days, glad nobody got hurt.
i'm surprised nobody brought up the kitten he ran over on his way back to the truck, that's good for 100 points at least, bro
