I'm curious what everyone thinks about the camera style used in SX and MX. Personally I am not a big fan, but when I see what I do consider a great shot, it is really awesome.
The "spider cams" etc don't do anything for me. They seem to really take away from the speed, intensity, and nearness to each other of the bikes and riders.
A few super good shots stand out to me. I think the first one is from a camera on a SXS running along side the track at Daytona. You can see it in the video below. Skip to the 2:10:10 mark.
There was another shot a few years ago with a camera inside a corner. The camera would lock on a rider then (pan?) around the turn with them. It was super bad ass, but I can't find an example.
Anyhow. I was just wondering what anyone else thought and what camera views you like.
