Over the past 10 years busting my hump racing as a pro I have always wanted to ride a a Factory bike for many reasons. in 2005 I began testing for KTM and was given the oppurtunity to ride many Factory bikes in races across the world. With that being said I was given a tool to make the best for myself as racer but my speed did not let me make a living racing, but with my knowledge of motorcycles I was blessed to be a test rider and able to race selected races on a Factory backed bike. With so much on my plate and my career taking new direction I am putting my bike on the line for a lucky pro that hasnt had the chance to ride a bike to show there true potential. Follow the link and do not reply to me on this board reply to the e-mail adress on the link. This is not a chance for guys to have another shot on a great bike after they lost there ride on a top team but for a guy who has never had the chance to see what it's like to show up at a race and worry about racing only! Good luck boys let the best man win!

I'm just curious how the weight requirement rule works. I thought the 250SX was too light for the AMA Pro rule book. If it is, how are you guys getting around it?

With that said, good luck!

I didn't say you would cheat. I was just wondering what has to happen to make the bike legal.

No where does it say that is a full blown factory machine. KTM Factory Service race team is putting on this deal and to many privateers this will feel like a flow blown factory weekend! Paid hotel and travel fees, mechanic, and fresh gear and goggles when you hit the track. I would say that would feel like a factory rider for a day to me! Awesome deal Sleeter and KTM Factory Services!

i think if it is too light it has to have weight of some sort added to it until it meets the requirements until after the limit is reached and then you can stop adding extra weight because you have already meet the limit rules and then you can pass weigh in. not so difficult really....Wink

Which is BS that a production bike that the masses can buy is illegal to race in box stock form. Is there a captain to this ship or do we have monkeys in fancy clothes calling the shots?

That sounds too simple, which is why I asked.
